In this Tutorial you will learn how to SSH into your iPhone/iPod Touch.
Your Device must be JailBroken in order to do this.
1. Download – [WinSCP] & Install it on your PC.
2. Install Open SSH on your iPhone/iPod Touch.
Launch Cydia & Go to Featured.
Locate Open SSH & Install it.
3. Run WinSCP Simply Double Click the Icon & Click on New
4. Go to Setting on your iPhone/iPod Touch & Go into the Wi-Fi connection.
& Tap the Blue Circle Arrow.
5. Now Note down the iP Address you see here.
6. Go back to settings & Then Go into General-In General settings Locate Auto Lock & Check Never.
Exit by hitting the Home Button
7. Now go back to WinSCP Screen – Enter the IP Address you noted earlier in Host name.
In User enter – root In Password – alpine
Important – Leave Post number at 22. In File Protocol Choose SCP
8. You will see WinSCP will attempt to Log into Your Deivce.
For the First time it will ask you to confirm the Host. Choose Yes.
9. After i hit yes i got the Following Screen – If you get it Simply Enter the password again : alpine
10. Thats it ! You are Done!
You should now be in the Root of your Device

I can not get this to work. I have the 3g on a windows Vista. I have everthing set up correctly but my ISP is not allowing my phone to connect. WHATS up?
